Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. - Romans 12:1 (NIV)
I beseech you, therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. - Romans 12:1 (NKJV)
Worship thru Service Sunday

March 14, 2021
It is good to look at something from a new angle to understand it better, to gain a new perspective, to develop a new appreciation for it. Sometimes, one of the best things we can do is break a routine and try something new.
This Sunday, March 14, we are going to do something new in a Covid-19 world. We are going to worship God in a new way, as part of the Worship Way of Life - learning to worship God at any place, at any time in every way.
On Worship thru Service Sunday, rather than having our normal worship services, we are asking everyone to worship thru service, to serve God through serving others with a heart full of worship, focused on Jesus, acting in His Name.
Romans 12:1 is about giving our bodies to God, our very lives to God as an act of sacrifice and worship. Some translations use the word "service" in place of "worship" for that is what the word means - to serve in Jesus's name and in obedience to Him is an act of worship.
So, this Sunday, rather than gathering together to sing, pray and explore God's Word, we are going out into the world to serve others in Jesus's Name, on a day where everything we do is an act of worship if done on His behalf and out of love and gratitude for all He has done for Him.
Each act will be a prayer, a song of praise, a living sermon.
So, what can we do?
Pray about what God wants you to do and do that.

Serve with your family, friends, small group, or coworkers.
Find a place in the community to serve - serve your neighbors, your town, a nonprofit, your family.
In our Covid-19 world, people need encouragement and above all they need the hope of salvation in Jesus Christ - may you be a light that points others to Jesus.
Then, next week, let us know what you did and how it went.
Did you see God at work?
Were you able to connect with Him in a new way?
Did you experience His presence?
We are praying for everyone to see God in a new way and to grow in our worship of Him as we live out the Worship Way of Life.
