Ministry Team Highlight
Each week in the newsletter, we will be highlighting a different Ministry Team to let everyone know how everything comes together to help make Bridges the place it is.
There are some incredible people doing some incredible things, making it possible to connect with what God is doing here. That is what Ministry Teams are all about.
This week, the spotlight is on the Preschool Ministry– the team that takes care of our youngest ones. This team is led by Sarah Jarvis.
Here are some things about Sarah and her team.
What are the top 3 things you want people to know about your ministry?
- Bridges currently has a Toddler Room for ages 6 months - 2-year-olds and a Preschool Room for ages 2-5.
- Each week children have a Bible story and age-appropriate lesson.
- It takes a minimum of 4 volunteers each week to care for our toddlers and preschoolers.
What is 1 thing people should know about you?
Fun fact about me - I have 31 cousins!
What does following Jesus look like in your life?
For me, following Jesus looks like pouring my entire life into a relationship with the creator of the universe. In order to teach, you very quickly realize how little you truly know. So, I consistently have to go back to the source - The Bible - to answer my toddler's never-ending questions. And that, in turn, grows my knowledge and faith as well.
