You Are Not Alone

You set me in Your presence forever. - Psalm 41:12

You are not alone. You are never alone.

One of the many things that God has done for us through Christ is to make it possible for us to experience His presence in our lives. If we are a follower of Jesus, the Spirit indwells us and goes with us wherever we go.

While this is something I do not fully understand, I trust that I don’t have to understand it to experience it. I do not fully understand gravity, yet at every moment, I am experiencing it. We are not flying off into space. Gravity is at work. So is God.

You may not always feel His presence. There will be times when He seems distant or away. There will be times when you long to feel His presence. We all experience that. There will be times when you wonder if He is really there and if He really cares. But know that He is with you. He keeps His promises. He loves you and wants the best for you always. You are not alone. You are never alone.

The God who created the universe, who knit you together in your mother’s womb is with you.

The God through whom all things are possible is with you.

The God who holds the universe in His hand is with you.

He will never leave you nor forsake you.

He is with you right now. He is with you when you get up. He is with you when you go to work and every minute you are there. He is with you when you eat breakfast, lunch and dinner. He is with you while you surf the internet, watch tv, drive around town and when you are asleep. He is with you when you least expect it and when you most need it. He is with you when you forget about Him. He is always with you.

We live by faith when we don’t sense His presence and yet keep going. In many ways this is why we sometimes don’t sense His presence. He is growing our trust in Him. But never forget, sense Him or not – He is with you.

Be strengthened today. Be encouraged today. He is with you. He is always with you.
