In His last moments with His followers, Jesus gave them this mandate – “Go and make disciples of all nations…” (Matthew 28:18-20) and carry on this mission I have started.
Bridges Church is a continuation of the mission of Jesus. At Bridges, we define a disciple as someone who is “devoted to, developing in, and deployed by Jesus.” In other words, it is someone who is following in the footsteps of Jesus, becoming like him and being on mission with Him.
Over the course of 3 years, we are focusing on doing everything we can to fulfill this mission.
In 2023, we focused on being Devoted to Jesus – Devoted 23.
In 2024, we focused on Developing in Jesus – Developing 24.
In 2025, we are focusing on being Deployed by Jesus in Deployed 25.
Deployed 25 is all about being sent by Jesus and going with Jesus to impact a world that desperately needs Him and the light and life He brings to the lives of people.
If Jesus is the answer that everyone needs, then connecting people to Him and helping them grow in Christ is the greatest thing we can ever do for them. It’s all about helping people find and follow Jesus.
Deployed 25 is our next step in the process of fulfilling the mission of Jesus. Join us as we seek to truly live out what it means to be sent by Jesus.
