Of all of the new Multiply projects, one of the more unique and interesting this year is a painting class that was hosted in the Ministry Center last Saturday. Sue and Cass taught a group of ladies how to paint, and as you can see above, they all ended up with their own painting to take home.
Earlier this year, the staff challenged our leadership team to think outside the box and do something for Multiply this year that they are passionate about and do that thing with others who have similar interests. Sue said she immediately had a tug to do something with art and after a few conversations and encouragement, she and Cass came up with an idea to teach a group of ladies to paint.
This is exactly what I had in mind when we presented the challenge to the leadership team. Something I could never come up with, something I couldn’t do, and most importantly something that brings a group of people together to do something they enjoy. On top of all of that, they raised some money to help us launch the Child Development Center.
If you missed out this past weekend, no worries. They are planning to do it again, so be on the lookout for information about the next opportunity. In the meantime, you can reach out to Sue, Cass or contact us at info@bridgeschurch.net with any questions you may have.
Thanks so much Sue and Cass for sharing your gift and passion for art with others in this way!
